To build positive working relationships with the parents of children in elementary/middle schools and the District 19 community at large. In efforts, to empower families to become proactive in their children’s education on a continuous basis

Our Vision

Community Education Council 19 believes parent engagement is an ongoing process and that it should increase active participation, communication and collaboration between parents and schools. It believes that parents, schools, families and communities working together will create meaningful partnerships that lead to gains in student achievement.    This can be accomplished through a partnership with families and the community working together to provide the necessary resources and support to produce a positive educational environment essential for excellence in achievement and learning.
